Renovation of an entire floor of an 1920's building in Midtown, Manhattan.

Welcome to the new Architizer, HWKN and KKLD* office on 5th Avenue! A quick and low budget renovation of the 2nd floor revives a 1920’s building in Midtown. The new simple office space offers an open plan and a glass conference space with view to the Empire State Building.
Future steps of the project are envisioning public installations on the roof top and exhibitions in the empty deli on the ground floor, with the aim to put the Midtown corner house as new art and architecture center in the cultural map of NYC.
