Vegetarian eating habits are without much doubt a modern and climate friendly approach towards nutrition. Vegetarianism when it comes to interior decoration is however questionable. Today the standard flower bouquet is a mass produced item, that one has to throw away after only a couple of days – often tastelessly arranged and wrapped in a lot of plastic.
The bone bouquet is a sustainable alternative. It recycles naturally produced material, that doesn’t need any attention or water and will retain its state for millenniums to come, leaving you free to travel without having someone over watering the plants every 2 two days.
Made from goat bones found in Valle Maggia in the southern mountains of the Swiss Alps, it is true cradle to cradle design.
The composition is also referencing the still life art of the 17th Century, as inanimate matter in an artificial setting.
